You can ask us to delete your VangDoo account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make that request and exactly what is removed.

Request account deletion

How to request deletion

Email us at inddhan7@gmail.com from any email address, with the subject "Delete my VangDoo account".
Include the mobile phone number registered to your VangDoo account so we can locate and verify it. (If a parent or guardian is requesting on behalf of a student, please say so.)
We verify and confirm. We may send a one-time verification to your registered number to make sure the request is genuine, then delete your data and email you a confirmation.

What gets deleted

Once your request is verified, we permanently delete the following from our systems:

Data	Examples
Account & identity	Registered mobile phone number, sign-in identity, student name
Education profile	Board, medium/language, standard/year, division, school, area PIN code, subject & book selections
Learning activity	Practice history, mock-test results, subject mastery, XP, streaks, progress and any content you saved

Uninstalling the app also removes data stored locally on your device. Uninstalling alone does not delete data held on our backend — use the request process above for a full deletion.

What may be retained (and why)

After deletion we do not keep your learning profile. We may retain a limited set of records only where the law requires it or for legitimate security purposes:

Security & abuse-prevention logs — basic technical logs, kept for a short period, then deleted.
Aggregated / anonymised statistics — data that can no longer identify you (e.g. total number of tests taken across all users) may be retained for reporting.

We do not retain your phone number, name, or education profile after a verified deletion beyond any short period needed to complete the removal.

Timeline

We action verified deletion requests within a reasonable period — typically within 30 days of verification. Backups are rotated on a regular schedule, so residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within that backup cycle.
